Welcome to our web site!
Greetings one and all to our church family. We are a small "country church" and as such everyone who joins us is considered family after their first visit. We are also known as "the hugging church" so be forewarned!!! We are informal in our services as far as dress is concerned. COME AS YOU ARE! We are more concerned with you being with us than with what you are wearing.
We are honored and pleased that you are visiting our web site. Being a religious organization, we are always striving to find new ways to get the Good News out to current and prospective members. This web site allows us to reach people we may never have been able to contact before.
Please use this site to access the information you need about the church and as a resource for broadening your faith. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you in one of our worship services and answering any questions you might have.
NEWS OF NOTE
We have finally cleared the county hurdles and have started our Fellowship Hall expansion. Please excuse our dust as we progress.
We would like to welcome also, the newest member of the Citra UMC family, Rebecca M. who joined the church on Sunday, October 4th. Please welcome and encourage her in her faith walk!
Worship Schedule
We have tweaked our worship service by combining a contemporary and traditional service into a blended service. We begin with contemporary praise songs and lead into a more traditional service. We hope you like it! Please let us know.

NOTEWORTHY UPCOMING EVENTS
New seekers Class following the Alpha program begins on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 9:30 am in the Pastor's office.
Join us on Sunday, February 7, 2010 for a farewell celebration for Lionel and Dot Cornell with a covered dish luncheon to follow services at the Citra Community Center.
Sunday, February 14, 2010 is Valentine's Day and Lionel and Dot's last Sunday with us. Please join us to give them a fond sendoff.
Norman Lee in concert on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 7:00 pm in conjunction with our 130th Homecoming celebration on Sunday the 14th.
