HISTORY OF FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF CITRA
In the mid 1800's, followers of the Christian faith called Methodists settled in the area now known as Citra. In 1880 they organized and became a part of the Florida Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church South.
